• This place is a must see. The pool the private beach the staff knowing your name and catering to your needs was an absolute luxury.

  If you want your private piece of Jamaica without the hassle of vendors trying to get you to buy every thing and having your holiday ruined by the negative experience of two many people too little space, then this is the place to come and like us you will be planning your return trip before you leave.

• The time I spent at Villa L'Horizon was quite simply amazing. The house and gardens were all immaculately maintained and the staff really went out of there way to take care of us.

  I personally found that lying by the pool was the perfect way to unwind from the rigours of work and would certainly recommend it to all of my friends. If you are looking for a place to stay in Ocho Rios then look no further than Villa L'Horizon.

• I had a fantastic time when I went to Jamaica on 13th June 2007; I really didn't want to come home! Villa L'Horizon is simply stunning.

  It is extremely well maintained and very spacious. We spent most days laying round the pool and Jacuzzi area which are surrounded by lovely gardens, you really don't feel like you need to go anywhere else! The staffs were very attentive but not intrusive and the cooking was superb - real authentic Jamaican food! We found the surrounding area to be very picturesque and relaxing, and the beach - which is a short walk away - is lovely, very warm sea and practically deserted white sand. We found there was plenty to do in Ocho Rios and we had a couple of very enjoyable excursions out to Dunns River and the Botanical Gardens, both of which are just down the road. There are also plenty of local bars and restaurants around but we really didn't feel the need to stray far!

• We have just come back from the two most amazing weeks at l'horizon(August 2007) which is the perfect luxury family location to spend a holiday.

  The house is of a very high specification and the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Every detail has been thought of and it is very child friendly. Ocho Rios is a very nice town and simple to get to from the house, we discovered some excellent restaurants and being in such close proximity to all the major attractions means we were never bored of things to do. The staff at l'horizon are what really makes the place special though, very friendly with just the right level of attention, great food and helpful in everyway. We feel very fortunate to have spent time at this amazing house, and happily recommend it to anybody.

• I want to tell you how very much we enjoyed our stay at Villa L'Horizon. The staff is great, everything was clean and bright, the grounds, plants and flowers are beautifully kept.

  The pool and Jacuzzi area was excellent for relaxing in the sunshine with some reggae beats in the background and a nice cool drink in your hand. We'll definitely go back. Thanks again for a wonderful place to stay on a wonderful place to vacation.

• I would like to thank you for an excellent time that we had at your Villa, L'Horizon in Jamaica.

  The Villa is magnificent - very spacious, very Well equipped and with a swimming pool and surrounding grounds that kept the kids entertained for hours.
  Miss Kelly and her team were First Class and ensured that we had a Relaxing time and that our every need was taken care of. The food was excellent and by having the meals prepared for us in the house we were able to sample home-cooked Jamaican Food that is difficult to find in hotels or restaurants. It really was like a home-away-from-home (except that I didn't have to lift a finger to help with the housework for a whole week - and that is NOT like home).
  Please pass on our thanks to all the staff and ensure that they know that we really do appreciate all their efforts in making our stay so enjoyable.
  Jamaica is a lovely island and by staying at L'Horizon we were able to Make the most of our time there and enjoy the island to the full - despite Having the distractions of 5 energetic children. We felt totally secure and had a wonderful week.

• Simply excellent holiday home

  I spent a week at l'horizon with friends. We were in Jamaica for another friend's wedding. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely sensational. Sandra, the chef, was the most accommodating and talented lady one could hope for. And the villa is truly luxurious- even the photos here don't do it justice. You have access to the beach 5 minutes walk away and are a short cab ride from Oche proper and the beautiful Dunn's river. L'horizon offers a relaxing and authentic alternative to the generic all-inclusives nearby (although day passes mean you can see the other side pretty easily). I would have no hesitation recommending this place to all and sundry and my only regret was that i had to come home

• A-Mazing

  Before getting to l'horizon I first exchanged many emails with the owner Barrington Johnson, he was wonderful, and extremely patient!! When we got there (22 friends for springbreak) it was better then expected. The staff was so nice, professional and caring. Thank you especially to Sandra, Miss Kelly and Orrett!
  Clearly the most amazing holyday i've spent and thanks to l'horizon house, the greatest vibe. Be ready to spend an amazing time

• Hi I would like to say a big thank you to all the L'Horizon staff for making our holiday excellent experience, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, Firstly we were greeted with a lovely smile and good conversation, and that vibes just continued throughout the holiday.

  The accommodation was more than we expected, all the rooms are decorated and kept to a high standard throughout, with cot bed provided for our grandchildren.
  
  L'Horizon lived up to all our expiration and more, the friendly staff the excellent food, there was not anything that the staff would not do for us. Our day was just sun filled with lovely memories of either relaxing by the pool with a chilled drink in our hands or chilling down by the beach, and when we got back all we had to do was sit back and savour the flavours of the wonderful food that was prepared for us
  
  all that remains to say is three cheers to all the staff at L'horizon who made our stay amorable one, and be asured we will be back.
